How to Make Gold At Lower Levels 1 – 30 in the World of Warcraft
The World of Warcraft has evolved and has made it easier for players at lower levels to make money, level, and attain a mount. I remember when I first started playing a couple years back how hard it was to get 60 gold to buy the mount at level 40 (back then it was 40). Nowadays, gold is a lot more ample and even as a newbie in the game you can make a nice amount of gold especially since most of the higher level players don’t have time to farm or gather in Old Azeroth.
Don’t Buy Anything Unncessary!
When you go to the auction house, be sure you know what you are buying and don’t buy anything unnecessary. More often than not, you don’t need a new sword or armor for a very long time, and quests will often give you good enough equipment to last you for a while. Unless you have a lot of gold, don’t bother wasting your money on buying equipment for yourself.
Underbid!
If you have something you must buy, then bid and don’t buy out an auction. Put in a bid and be patient about it, at this level most likely the item won’t be outbidded unless you’re pretty unlucky. Try to save every copper that you can!
Sell Everything that You Don’t Need!
You will definitely get a lot of vendor trash (grey items), white and green items. Sell everything! For the white and green items, check to see if you can sell it on the auction house, if you don’t think you can then just sell it to the vendor. Green items should sell higher on the auction house than to a vendor since they can be disenchanted so I would suggest putting out a decent buyout price and setting the minimum bid for about double of what the vendor would pay (since you have to think about the auction house cut as well).
Get The Biggest Bag You Can Afford!
Bag space is extremely important, sometimes you won’t be able to go back to a city or even go to a vendor for some period of time and your bags might fill up pretty quickly. Do you best to invest in some bags as soon as you can because you never know what you might pick up and you don’t want to waste valuable time emptying your bag destroying things you could have sold even for a few copper or silver, which would have added up.
Forget the Auction House! Get Out there and Level your Character!
I’m not joking here, if you level your character, it will be much easier to make gold down the road. You’ll be laughing at yourself later on if you spend too much time as a low level trying to make gold when one quest at level 80 which could take a few minutes could be equivalent to a few days work as a level 10 or 20. So work on those quests nd level your character if you really want to make some gold!
