World of Warcraft - Jewelcrafting Tokens and Dragon's Eyes

With the newest expansion for the World of Warcraft, the Wrath of the Lich King, Jewelcrafters have been given a godsend with the Jewelcrafting tokens. Because of these wonderful tokens that are either obtained through daily quests with the Jewelcrafting trainer in Dalaran or with the Jewelcrafting quest item "Damaged Necklace"

Every daily quest that is given will give you +25 Kirin Tor rep some gold and more importantly a Jewelcrafting Token. With the Token you can buy tons of different recipes from the vendor right beside the trainer in Dalaran. You can blue gem recipes for every blue gem in the new expansion as well as some high level Rings, Necklaces, Trinkets and some epic items as well! I'll get to these in more detail in a different article.

The most basic thing you can buy with only one Jewelcrafting token is Dragon's Eye. This blue gem that is tradeable can make you a lot and I mean a lot of money. Dragon's Eyes are in huge demand because they are used to craft very expensive and very good rings and necklaces. In addition, Dragon's Eyes can be used to make the most powerful gems in the game by other Jewelcrafters (which are BoP crafted gems btw).

Check the AH the next time you are on to see how much these go for. Obviously, if they are very low you can almost buy and sell these to make money with the differential. You can also save these gems to craft rings and necklaces such as the Titanium Impact Choker and make a nice profit from it.

Always determine a set percentage in your mind that will make your crafting of a gem or item worthwhile since you don't want to be running a losing business. If you can figure out the market price and play the market well with Dragon's Eyes this will open a lot of doors for you. Everytime you are on to play the World of Warcraft, check the price of Dragon's Eyes.

At the time of writing this article on my server, Dragon's Eyes were going for about 200 gold. So that's basically 200 gold you can make per day, just for doing a daily quest. Not too bad if you don't have much time in your day! Be sure to do you daily Jewelcrafting quest!
